Finding Us

We are based in Alpha Tower, one of Birmingham's most distinctive office blocks - see picture.  The tower is near the junction of Suffolk Street Queensway (route of the A38), Paradise Circus, and Broad Street (A456).

By train

The Commission is ten minutes' walk from both New Street and Snow Hill Stations.

From New Street station take the 'Exit to Victoria Square' at the 'b' end of most platforms and walk up Pinfold Street, directly opposite the exit, to Victoria Square.  Or, from the main exit of Snow Hill station turn right along Colmore Road to Victoria Square.

Follow signs for the International Convention Centre (ICC), keep to the lower part of Victoria Square, and take the pedestrian crossing across the dual carriageway through Fletcher's Walk covered shopping arcade.

By car

On approaching the City Centre, follow the signs to Symphony Hall or the International Convention Centre (ICC).  Both are situated on Broad Street close to Alpha Tower.

If driving along Broad Street from the M5 Junction 3, take the fourth right into Gas Street, turn right into Holliday Street, left at the dual carriageway (Suffolk Street Queensway), and almost immediately left again into Alpha Tower Plaza.

If driving from the M6 or the M5 Junction 4, take the A38(M) or A38 for the City Centre.  Then follow the signs for the Crowne Plaza Hotel which stands next to Alpha Tower.

Parking

There are two car parks close to our offices, on Holliday Street and Navigation Street.  Limited street parking is also available on Bridge Street and Holliday Street
